Jan. 9, 2008. The Humpback Whales are back in Kauai now. They started to show up in November. Now the numbers and the activity has picked up considerably.
 

Nov. 28 has been a wet day here on Kauai.
Here is what Wailua Falls looked like this morning. After this it rained a lot more.

The Humpback Whales on Kauai are starting to look hungry. Soon the whales will be swimming North to Alaska for the summer.
 

Mar. 8, 2007. A Sanderling lands at Salt Pond in Kauai.

Feb, 8, 2007. Bottlenose Dolphins have been said to migrate to Hawaii with the Humpback Whales. They are here year round though. This picture was taken near Kauai in August (Definitely not Whale season).

Jan. 1, 2007. Year of the Pig. A pig walks along the beach on the Island of Niihau. On Niihau there are not many people but lots of pigs.
 

Dec. 25, 2006. Merry Christmas! Here is a picture of a Humpback Whale that I took on Christmas Eve. It is on the West side of Kauai. Wallpaper.
 

Nov. 15, 2006. A small tsunami hits Hawaii. Some places it went unnoticed. Nawiliwili Harbor on Kauai had a 4 to 5 foot change in water level. See story.
 

Nov. 9 we are back home on Kauai again! Here is one last view of Japan. A Yokohama sunset with Fuji in the background.
 

Oct. 25, 2006.Mount Fuji seems to be more elusive than Waialeale.
